Taha Farrukh

Mechanical Engineering Student @ NUST '28. Formula 1 enthusiast & aspiring high-performance engineer.

About Me

The intersection of speed and engineering.

I'm a Mechanical Engineering student, having just completed my second year. I've been passionate about automotive engineering and motorsports for as long as I can remember — especially Formula 1, which I started following closely back in 2015–2016 as a Red Bull Racing and Max Verstappen fan.

Over the years, that passion has expanded beyond F1 into endurance racing (like Le Mans) and MotoGP, where I've come to appreciate the complexity and innovation behind high-performance engineering. I also actively apply this interest through sim racing, which has deepened my understanding of vehicle dynamics and telemetry.

Lately, I've also been diving into the world of aviation — particularly aircraft and fighter jet design and manufacturing. I'm fascinated by the engineering challenges humanity has overcome to achieve controlled flight and supersonic speed.

Currently, I’ve transitioned from online Coursera certifications to applying engineering principles in the workshop. Whether it's manufacturing parts for the NUST Team 95 racing buggy or polishing my structural analysis skills in SolidWorks and ANSYS, I learn best by doing. This drive led to a 1st Place victory at the ASME EFX iAM3D 2025 and recognition at the NUST High Achiever ceremony. I'm always eager to explore new tools and technologies that align with my interests. I'm an aspiring F1 engineer.
